The study undertaken by Dr Danielle Every, University of South Australia explores representations of gambling in English and non-English language print media.

The study sought to find out what was being reported about gambling by the English and non-English media and whether there was any culturally-specific differences in reporting on gambling.

The final report provides that it was not possible to ascertain if there were differences in the representation of gambling in the English and non-English language print media given the small number of articles from the non-English print media.

Few articles were identified in the non-English Australian media, despite extending the search time from 3 months to 12 months and subsequently 24 months.
